Problem
Users (Customers) had issues with how Search was conducted. There was a disproportionate number of people searching and actually following through with completing orders.
Challenge
Redesigning the whole Mobile Search experience for both a logged in/logged out User (via Axure) and properly Testing this using Lookback.
Solution
- Analyze the preliminary Research to begin designing a mock-up.
- Changing the layout of elements within an individual Search Results.
- Increasing the sizing of images.
- Allowing for 2 view types, both Grid and List.
- Changing the number of Search Results that can appear per page.
- Changing the location of searching by Key Word.
- Changing the hierarchy of Filters.
- Changing the appearance of Filters.
- Changing the options for Filters.
- Adding Search Suggestions for misspelled words, zero inventory, and no search results found.
- Testing Users, after capturing their data via Usabilla and a Survey Monkey Survey.
